jSunnyreports does not have a neat and flashy looking app or tool to configure everything. jSunnyreports is, well, spartan to configure to say the least. Why is that? My time is limited. I would rather add extra inverters, more charts and better code in the limited time I have then to invest that time in creating a cool and neat configuration tool.

You must edit the following files:

  • settings.conf ( it contains important configuration items. )
  • inverters.conf ( it contains the inverters that need to be monitored ).
  • costs.xls ( if you want to have a populated costs column on the website ).

The rest of the files are optional:

  • summary.conf
  • diary.conf

Step one: setting up settings.conf
